Dina Wadia Passes Away

Dina Wadia, mother of industrialist Nusli Wadia and wife of Neville Wadia, passed away in London on Thursday, 2nd November, 2017. The only child of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Ruttie (née Petit), Dina was 98 years old, as quoted by family sources, as per the report of Pakistan’s Express Tribune News. After her marriage to the illustrious business tycoon, Neville Wadia, she stayed in India for a while before moving to the United Kingdom.

Born on August 15 in 1919, historian Stanely Wolpert writes, “she made a dramatic entry into the world, announcing her arrival when her parents were enjoying a movie at a local theatre in London.”
