Little Hearts Preschool Celebrates Annual Concert Day

 

The Little Hearts Preschool held its Annual Concert on 11th March, 2020 at The Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh Auditorium, celebrating ‘Happiness’ as the theme. The spectacular show was put up by 140 children, all under four years of age, whose performances were much appreciated by a cheerful audience of around 400 parents, grandparents and friends. It was hosted by senior teacher, Binaifer Kandawalla.

The highlight of the Concert was the story of ‘Snow White’, performed as a musical replica with favourite Hindi songs. The audience watched with joy as the lovely tiny tots of Playgroup performed vibrantly to cheerful tunes of Festivals, Beautiful Day and Celebrations. The Nursery children were a treat to watch, as they thrilled the audience with their marvelous execution of the social messages they delivered with every performance. The songs ‘Tik tik -Bye to Plastic’ and ‘Barson re Megha’, giving a call to preserve and protect our Environment and ‘Jeena isika naam hai’ overwhelmed all present with emotions of love and life. The Lower KG children with boundless energy were amazing with their scintillating performance on ‘Sabse aage honge Hindustani’ and a Wedding Celebrations Medley, which won the hearts of all present. Everyone present swayed and smiled radiantly as they cheered heartily for the Finale ‘Om Shanti Om’. As the National Anthem was sung, all present had a deep feeling of Happiness, so true to Little Hearts theme this year.  

The Principal of the school, Dr. Meher Munshi, recipient of The National Achievers Award for Education Excellence, said, “Ever since the opening of the school in 1999, the School has made tremendous progress with every student having benefitted from the learning and values imparted by this Institution, thus providing a platform for standing in good stead in their future lives. Every effort, along with the warmth and care of our teachers, gives the child the strength to grow into a lovely miracle.” The School has also been a recipient of many Awards including the ‘Maharashtra Schools Merit Award for Innovative Teaching Methods’ and the ‘India School Merit Award for Best Preschool in Co-Curricular Activities’.
