Percy Amalsadiwalla Appointed President Of IIA India (Mumbai)

Percy Amalsadiwalla, a Fellow Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Master’s in Commerce from Mumbai University and a Certified Fraud Examiner from Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA, has been appointed as the President of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India, Bombay Chapter, at its Annual General Meeting, in honorary capacity. IIA is the internal audit profession’s global voice, acknowledged leader and principal educator. IIA India is an affiliate of the International professional association – The IIA Inc., with global headquarters in USA. IIA India has six chapters, Bombay Chapter being the largest with over 1,200 members.

Percy commands over 19 years of experience in Governance and Assurance related areas such as Internal Audit, Ethics & Compliance, Investigations and Risk Management across a spectrum of industries. He is currently associated with a leading global Technology conglomerate in their Middle East, Africa and India (MEAI) regional Compliance Investigations & Regulatory hub in Mumbai. He has been associated with IIA Bombay Chapter for over a decade in various capacities and is also a regular speaker at several international industry and corporate forums. In his current role as the President, Percy wishes to raise the bar of the Institute further with his theme “Collaborate to Grow”.
