GWA’s Annual Jasan

The Gamadia Welfare Association organized their annual Jasan on the eve of 12 June, 2016, at Sethna Agiary Hall. Conducted by two Dasturjis of Sethna Agiary, the Jasan, attended by two hundred attendees, was followed by the distribution of ‘chasni’ and a fun-filled entertainment program including fancy dress competition, talent rounds and dance performances. Compered by Dr. Pervin Meherji and judged by Parsi Times’ Soharab S. Jesia, Dr Pervin Meherji and Freny Sadri, the talented winners were Freyana M. Patel, Bianca M. Cooper, Vahishta Panthaki, Zenia Palet, Katrina Hakim and Yohan Tampal. For the first time GWA awarded prizes to resident students who excelled in Science, Arts and Commerce. The highlight of the evening was the group Bollywood dance choreographed by Benaifer Mehta, Vahista and Nekzad Malegamwala. The evening concluded with the felicitation of President Phiroze F. Sethna for his commendable work, followed by a sumptuous dinner.
