LCCP Organises Seniors Interactive Session
The Lioness Club Of Cuffe Parade (LCCP) organised an informative and interactive session with Guest Speaker and Parsi Times Assistant Editor, Delaveen Tarapore on 29th January, 2017, at PVM Gymkhana. Introduced by PRO Chairperson, Roshan Bulsara, Delaveen highlighted how the void between the seniors and the current generation can be bridged using technology, especially mobile phones and enlightened them on the effectiveness and efficiency of numerous applications such as lumosity, shouter, etc. that specifically cater to the senior citizens.
The session grew lively with the seniors downloading various apps that she suggested and shared a few experiences on how to combat loneliness by enhancing their skillsets and accepting and embracing themselves for who they are. President, Rashna Powvala felicitated Delaveen, followed by Ferkhondel Kavarana enticing the audience with her witty jokes. The event concluded with the lionesses discussing future initiatives to be undertaken, followed by snacks.
