NCPA Pays A ‘Tribute to Legends: Billie, Ella And Aretha’

A tribute to the unforgettable voices of some of the most legendary powerhouse women vocalists of the era gone by – the Lady Day – Billie Holiday; First Lady of Song – Ella Fitzgerald; and the Queen of Soul – Aretha Franklin. A journey through timeless soul stirring, ballads including ‘Embraceable You’ and ‘I Never Lived A Man’ to foot tapping swing tunes like ‘Blue Skies’ and ‘Love for Sale’ – presented by Berklee College of Music graduate, singer Sanjeeta Bhattacharya with Delhi’s favourites, Rythem Bansal on keys, Takar Nabam on guitar, Sonic Shori on bass and Aditya Dutta on drums.
