Sizzling Summer Fest’19 At PPCWA

Parsi Punchayet Complex Welfare Association (PPCWA) Goregaon organised a fun-filled evening extravaganza – Summer Fest’19 – for the very first time on 30th March, 2019, at the Complex itself, with games and rides for children and a wide spread of stalls offering food, clothes, accessories, utilities and more. The Guests of Honour were BBP Chairman Yazdi Desai and wife Anahita, Arnavaz Mistry, and BPP Trustees Kersi Randeria, Viraf Mehta and Xerxes Dastur.

The highlight of the eve was a fashion show, an initiative of the colony residents, comprising seven award categories based on age, with three winners for each. The fashion show was judged by three highly talented and established personalities – Delnaz Balsara Sharma – the current holder of the prestigious ‘Mrs. Asia Universe’title; Yasmin Mistry – ZTFI Trustee and entrepreneur; and educator and dance connoisseur – Behnaz Todiwala. The Winners for ‘Summer Princess’ and ‘Summer Prince’ were Viviana Bhathena and Aryan Belihomji (4-7 years); Zoya Irani and Zahan Pastakia (8-12 years); Farnaza Ravji won ‘Summer Teen Princess’; Roshni Shethna won ‘Summer Queen’; and Rustom and Roshni Shethna won ‘Best Couple’. Individual and group dance performances by different age groups during the fashion show kept the tempo high, while a joker mascot entertained the crowd.

A fabulous first-time event put together by the vibrant PPCWA Committee members team headed by President – Penaaz Bhathena; Secretary – Nilofer Waghchhipawala; Treasurer Arnaz Goimaiwala; Joint Treasurer – Neville Anklesaria; and committee members – Hosi Nariman, Zubin Bacha and  Porus Dubash.
