NCPA Presents An Evening of Two Comedies

NCPA keeps the festive mood going in the New Year with ‘An Evening of Two Comedies’ – namely ‘Bicharo Burjor’ by Yazdi Karanjia and ‘Police Station Ma Dhamaal’ by Rustom Irani – scheduled for Khordad Sal on Thursday, 22nd August, 2019. With a total runtime of 105 minutes for both plays, ‘Bicharo Burjor’ is a rip-roaring comedy by the famous Yazdi Karanjia Drama Group from Surat, featuring Yazdi Karanjia, Vira Karanjia, Shehzad Karanjia, Mehernosh Karanjia and others. This will be followed by ‘Police Station Ma Dhamaal’ – a Nautanki Bawas’ presentation, encouraging young talent – a play about a police inspector accusing a blind man of bank robbery, starring Rustom Irani, Khurshid Irani, Umeed Kothavala, Neville Postwalla, Benaisha Irani and others. Directed by Sam Kerawalla, come and enjoy a hearty laugh on a special day!
