NBPC Celebrates 71st Annual Program
On the auspicious occasion of Khordad Sal, 22nd August, 2019, the Nowroze Baug Play Centre (NBPC) celebrated its 71st Annual programme with a fundraiser for the Welfare Activities of the Play Centre – Big Bang Production’s hilarious natak, ‘Babo Aayo Courier Ma’, at the Sophia Bhabha auditorium, with Chief Guest, Ruby Lilaowala. After President Homi Ustad’s formal introduction, the play started. After the interval, he welcomed Chief Guest Ruby Lilaowala, BPP Trustee Viraf Mehta and NBPC Committee members on the dais. He introduced the activities of the Play Centre and praised their diligence for and being recognised by the Government for all time benefit under 80(G) of the IT Act.
Chief Guest Ruby Lilaowala wished the audience Khordadsal Mubarak and reminded the audience the importance of the Senior Citizens International Day which incidentally fell on the same day. She congratulated the Play Centre for its commendable activities and appreciated the play’s artists for their performance. The second half of the play resumed, with the artists introduced by Huzan Wadia, director of the play, concluding the eve on a note of fun and laughter.
