XYZ Raises Funds To Feed Relatives Of Patients

Dadar’s XYZ group – Behram’s Battalion – raised funds through a food festival on 16th February, 2020, as they wanted to do something different. They approached the NGO ‘Withaarya’ that supports the relatives of KEM hospital’s patients. The talented chef parents set up food stalls offering snacks and meals, as the kids made lemonade and cookies to sell. They also set up game-stalls and craft activities to raise more funds.
The food festival was conducted at JB Vachha High School for a day. Dadar Colony residents visited the fair and bought the wares on offer generously. The funds collected will be used to support breakfast and dinner for the relatives of cancer patients waiting outside KEM Hospital. To add to their support, XYZ graciously offered monetary assistance of Rupees twenty-five thousand.
BB kids, parents and volunteers will soon visit KEM hospital to offer their services further in serving breakfast and dinner. Of the total collections, Rupees twenty thousand will be donated to the child suffering from cancer at the Jerbai Wadia Children’s Hospital.
