71st EBZB Guides Contributes Masks, Sanitizers For Police

On August 20, 2020, Rangers from the 71st East Bombay Zoroastrian Bharat Guides Group visited Azad Maidan Police Chowkie and handed over 300 masks and 500 litres (230 bottles) of sanitizers to Inspector Vidyasagar KalKude and Naik Sachin Savant for distribution to other Police Chowkies.

Besides engaging the Guides and Bulbuls at the Zoom meetings every Saturday during the lockdown, the Group felt that it was important to sensitize the children to the current situation by making them understand the risk undertaken by frontline warriors including doctors, nurses, police and others. 

Living up to their motto, ‘Service’, the Rangers fronted and delivered this project, which was made possible with generous contributions from parents and young members.
