SWA Sets The Tone For Fun ‘n’ Games!

In keeping with the true Bawa spirit of majha-masti, despite the odds of the lockdown, Salsette Parsi Colony (Andheri East, Mumbai) floated the ‘Salsette Welfare Association’ (SWA), under the Salsette Parsi Association (SPA) umbrella, which comprises trustees of the colony.

Launched on 15th March, 2021, after much discussions and complete consent of colony residents and SPA trustees, the SWA organising committee has been working hard to plan and deliver quality entertainment online programs and activities to around 180 Salsette inhabitants, including Online Housie, the SWA Pati Quiz, Scavenger Hunt, Science Workshop, Antakshari, Finance Quiz, Baking Workshop and numerous others over the next couple of months. “We now look forward to Sunday evenings with SWA like the olden days when Sunday evenings were highly entertaining on television in the 70’s and 80’s,” quipped a senior Salsette resident!

SWA aims to collate a database of residents and is committed to sharing joy and cheer in the colony as also outside, with membership open to non-resident Zoroastrians and their families too. For details, connect at: salsettewelfareassociation@gmail.com or Call: 9820413473.
