આજની હાઈ-ફાઈ અને વાઈ-ફાઈ જનરેશનને શું ખબર કે 80-90ના જમાનામાં પણ કેવી જાતની કોમ્પ્યુટર ટેકનોલોજીઓ હતી!

* બાપાની બે ધોલ પડે અથવા નિશાળમાં માસ્તર કાન આમળે કે તરત જ આખી સિસ્ટમ રિ-સ્ટાર્ટ થઈ જતી હતી!
* ઘરકામ ના કર્યું હોય ત્યારે બીજાની નોટમાંથી ધડાધડ ઉતારો કરી લેતા હતા તે એ વખતનું ફ્રી ડાઉનલોડ હતું!
* લખોટી, ગિલ્લી-ડંડા, કુકરીઓ, બોલ, બેટ, પત્તાં, ભમરડાં આ બધાં તે વખતના ગેમિંગ એપ હતાં!
* લગ્નોમાં દાળ પીરસવાનો ચાન્સ, રિસેસમાં નોટ આપવાની તક, અને છોકરીની સાયકલમાંથી હવા નીકળી ગઈ હોય ત્યારે હવા ભરી આપવાનો મોકો આ બધાં તે વખતના ડેટિંગ એપ હતાં!
* સ્કુલ છૂટ્યા પછી પાછળની કમ્પાઉન્ડ વોલ, લગ્નમાં વાડીનો પાછળનો ભાગ, બજારમાં બરફના ગોળાની લારી અને સસ્તી રેસ્ટોન્ટનો ફેમિલી રૂમ આ બધા તે વખતના ચેટિંગ રૂમ હતા!
* વિવિધ ભારતી, રેડિયો સિલોન, ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા રેડિયોની ઉર્દૂ સર્વિસ આ બધાં ઓનલાઈન લાઈવ મ્યુઝિક એપ હતાં!
* 20-25 રૂપિયાની ઓડિયો કેસેટોમાં જે પસંદગીના ગાયનોનું રેકોર્ડિંગ કરાવીને રાખતા એ તે સમયની મ્યુઝિક ફાઈલો હતી!
* હીરો-હિરોઈનોના ફોટા, પિકચરની રંગની ફ્રેમો, લખોટીઓ, બિલ્લા આ બધી તે વખતની કેશ-લેસ કરન્સી હતી!
* જે છોકરો આપણી ફેવરીટ છોકરી ક્યાં રહે છે, બાપા શું કરે છે, ઘરમાં છોકરી એકલી ક્યારે હોય છે, ફોન નંબર શું છે, આ બધું શોધી લાવે તે એ વખતનું ગુગલ સર્ચ એન્જિન હતું!
* મારફાડ રીતે ચોર-પોલીસ રમતા હતા તે વખતની પબ્જી ગેમ હતી અને ગલ્લીમાં લખોટીઓ રગડાવતા હતા તે કેન્ડી ક્રશ ગેમ હતી!
* ફ્રી પિરિયડમાં કે શાળાના પ્રવાસમાં જે અંતાક્ષરી રમતા હતા તે સમયનુય ઇન્ડિયન આઈડલ હતું.
