Lamington Road

Lamington Road was named after Lord Lamington, the then Governor of Bombay (1903-1907) and is officially known as Dr. Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg. Known as the unofficial ‘IT hub of Mumbai’, it is famous for its wholesale and retail market in electronic goods. It also houses famous erstwhile theatres including Minerva, Apsara, and Novelty, as also the popular Saibaba temple – ‘Saidham’.

Tardeo

In addition to being a popular residential area for our community, Tardeo is also a commercial locality in South Mumbai and an important arterial road. It is now renamed as under Javji Dadaji Road (from Nana Chowk to Tardeo Circle) and Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Road (from Tardeo Circle to Haji Ali). It houses the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Mumbai and it has commercial offices located in the AC Market Building and the Film Centre Building. Imperial Towers, the tallest complete buildings of India, are located here
