Jasans At Gamadia Colony

Gamadia Colony Recreation Centre organised a Dae Mahino jasan on the eve of 10th June, 2017, performed by Er. Viraf Bhesania and Er. Pashan Anklesaria of Vatcha Gandhi Agiary. The programme concluded, after a humbandagi followed with chasni served to twenty-five devotees, on a pleasant note thanks to the efforts of Committee members, Mehernosh Patel, Minoo Unwalla, Ardesher Doctor and Hoshadar Parakh.

The Gamadia Colony Welfare Association organised their annual Jasan on 11th June, 2017 at the Sethna Agiary Hall, comprising an entertainment programme followed by the prayers, organised by Benaifer Mehta and the team of dedicated committee members. Attended by over hundred and fifty people, the programme started with a humbandagi and monajats sung by Ashois (children of Prayer Class) followed by the felicitation of Ratamai Peer for her dedicated teaching of religion and prayers. Also part of the eve was a fancy dress competition, talent contest, skit and group dance performances on popular Bollywood songs. Cash prizes were given to students who did the colony proud – Benafsha Kavarana (ICSE), Bhagyashree Anklesaria (HSC -Commerce) and Ferzin Mehta (HSC- Arts). The function ended with dinner by Allarakha caterers.
