Mahakali Caves: Located in the eastern suburb of Andheri, Mumbai, Mahakali Caves (previously referred as Kondivite Caves) are a group of nineteen rock-cut caves built between 1^st century BC and 6^th century AD. Beautifully carved out of solid black basalt rock, the caves form two rows – four caves from the 4th – 5th century AD on the north-west face of long hillside and fifteen caves in the south-east face. The main cave consists of Buddha figures and stupas.

Yeoor Hill: Yeoor is located near Upavan, in Thane district, and is a buffer zone at the other end of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Yeoor comprises six small villages with a population of three thousand, inhabited primarily by adivasis. The clean atmosphere, wildlife and forests form the main attraction which transforms Yeoor Hill into the perfect picnic/tourist spot.
