XYZ’s Holds ‘LAFA’ Festival
On 2nd July, 2017, XYZ (Xtremely Young Zoroastrians) held its Literary Arts and Fine Arts Festival (LAFA) at the JB Vachha High School, Dadar. Over two hundred and sixty four members participated along with fifty volunteers, conducting educative and fun events including debate, impromptu speaking, spelling bee, poetry recitation and crossword-solving. A total of twenty events were conducted under four different age categories through the day. The judges were amused at the strong opinions children held even at a very young age, as they expressed their unique and intriguing thoughts. Competitions in Fine Arts such as clay modelling, rangoli, puppet making, origami and ceramic painting had children from ages four to sixteen, surprise the judges with their creativity.
