Nowroze Baug Holds All Parsis Tourneys

Nowroze Baug Play Centre (NBPC) organized a series of All Parsis Sepak, Throwball, Direct and Indirect Volleyball Tournament from 4^th to 14^th April 2018, with over 49 teams putting forth their best over these three tournaments. The Throwball tournament witnessed Malcolm Baug lifting the cup against finalist Marzban Colony, with Friyana of Marzban Colony was ‘Player of The Tournament’.

Sepak finals between Wadia Baug ‘A’ and Godrej Baug ‘A’ teams, had the former adjudged winners. Arish Sidhwa of Wadia Baug was announced ‘Player of Sepak Tournament’. Direct Volleyball displayed some good performances by CJ Colony ‘A’ and Marzban Colony ‘A’ in the finals with the latter winning the trophy. Shahzad Ichhaporia of Marzban Colony was ‘Player of the Tournament’.
The Indirect Volleyball finals were a repeat clash between DPCSWA and Godrej Baug ‘A’ amidst great cheering from the spectators. Dadar Parsee Colony kept the lead in all the sets to clinch the title. Karl Pandey of DPCSWA was ‘Player of the Tournament’.

Chief Guest Godrej Mehta, a sports enthusiast and NPC member, distributed the prizes. Secretary of NBPC, Firdosh Khambatta said, “We are extremely grateful to the residents of Nowroze Baug, especially Block ‘R’, for their support through the tournament.
