– Worthy Candidates – Anahita Desai And Berjis Desai – Could Bring In

The Much-Needed Balance And Peace In The BPP Board Room! –

With the BPP recently announcing its Election Schedule, the community braces itself for another round of elections to fill in the two vacant Trustee seats, with the passing of Trustee Zarir Bhathena and with former BPP Chairman Yazdi Desai, having formally tendered his resignation, for health reasons.

Two strong, consensual candidates, greatly respected by the community, to aptly and efficiently fill in these two vacancies for BPP Trustees, have emerged:

ANAHITA DESAI, known for her lifelong dedication to community service, has publicly declared her candidature; and

BERJIS DESAI, a well-respected Community luminary and a renowned solicitor and author, has also decided to file his nomination.

It would be a boon for the community if Anahita Desai and Berjis Desai are elected unopposed, as the community can be saved from the heavy expenditure, effort and acrimony that elections usually entail. But even more than that, this would send across a concerted message of the much-needed consensus and harmony in the BPP and the community.

Both candidates require no formal introduction and are respected community stalwarts; They are highly committed to the cause of community welfare and are poised to bring balance and further efficiency in the BPP, with their unique and complementary skills.

Peace and progress may well be in the offing for the BPP and that is definitely a good note to kick off 2021, in the Boardroom!
