Mehrzaad Mogrelia’s Debut Anthology Receives Recognition

In July 2020, the young and inspiring author, Mehrzaad Mogrelia, published his debut book, ‘A Quest Called Life’ – an anthology of poems depicting events, moments and people that influence and shape the direction of our lives. The book was well received and after a year of being published, has brought much recognition and awards for Mehrzaad from various publication houses and organisations including Literary Titan Gold Award for Literary Excellence (USA); Star Icon Award 2021 for Literary Excellence (Hyderabad); Sahityakosh Sanman Award 2021 for Literary Excellence; Litfest 2020 Nominee for Literary Excellence; Best Debut Author; Indian Prime Icon Award 2021 (Jury Recommendation) for Literary Excellence; Exemplary Youth Awards 2021 for Literary Excellence; Influential Indians Award 2021 for Literary Excellence and Best Author Poetry 2021.

“When I was writing this book, my thought was simple – to create a positive impact and aid people in having a different perspective towards life and its happenings’ since COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak during that time,” says Mehrzaad.
