ડબ્લ્યુઝેડઓ ટ્રસ્ટ ફંડનો વાર્ષિક સમર કેમ્પ

ડબ્લ્યુઝેડઓ ટ્રસ્ટ ફંડસે નવમો વાર્ષિક સમર કેમ્પ રજૂ કર્યો હતો. આ કેમ્પમાં નવસારી અને નજીકનાં ગામોમાંથી 9 થી લઈને 14 વર્ષની વયના જરથોસ્તી બાળકોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. આ કેમ્પ તા. 4થી મે થી 8મી મે 2019 સુધી હતી. નવસારીના વાસંદા તાલુકાના સાઉથ દાંગના વન વિભાગે વિકસાવેલા કિલાડ કેમ્પ સાઈટ પર આ શિબર ગોઠવવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
બાળકો કિલાડમાં લગભગ 1.30 કલાકે પહોંચી તંબુ લગાવી ભરપુર પારસી ભોણાનો આનંદ માણ્યો હતો. બીજા દિવસની શરૂઆત પ્રાર્થનાથી કરવામાં આવી હતી. બાળકોને વિવિધ જાતિના પક્ષીઓ, વૃક્ષો અને છોડ વિશેની માહિતી આપવામાં આવી હતી. આદિવાસી કારીગરોએ બનાવેલી વસ્તુની મુલાકાત લઈ કૃત્રિમ રોક ક્લાઇમ્બીંગ, નૃત્ય, ગીત અને જમણ સાથે આ દિવસ પૂરો થયો હતો. ત્રીજા દિવસે વાઘાઈ બોટનિકલ ગાર્ડન્સ, સાગના લાકડાનું ફર્નિચર, એડવેન્ચર રોપ એકટીવીટી, કેમ્પ ફાયર રાત્રિનું ભોજન અને રોમાંચક દિવસ સમાપ્ત થયો હતો. ચોથે દિવસે સોલાર કૂકર અને મધમાખીઓ માટે જાણકરી હાંસલ કરી, સાંજે રાફટીંગ અને ટ્રી હાઉસમાં રાત પસાર કર્યા પછી છેલ્લા દિવસે બાળકોને ગામમાં લઈ જઈ માછલીની ખેતી તથા તેનો ઉછેર તથા બળદગાડીની સવારી કરાવવામાં આવી હતી. આ આ કેમ્પ, વર્ષની મોટી સફળતા હતી. બાળકો એકબીજાની તથા સમુદાયની વધારે નજીક આવી શકયા હતા.
