The much-awaited Books and Garage Sale by WSD (Welfare of Stray Dogs) is back! The (Welfare of Stray Dogs) (WSD) is a leading animal welfare NGO that sterilizes and immunizes stray dogs, and also conducts Adoption Program for abandoned pets and pariahs; On-Site First–Aid Programs; and Education and Awareness Program in schools, colleges, streets and slums. WSD has so far sterilized over 56,000 stray dogs and impacted the lives of over 1,60,000 more, through First-Aid, Immunization and Adoption. Incurring a monthly expenditure of Rs 12,00,000/- on the above activities, WSD depends on the largesse of donors to fund these activities.

One of the methods of raising funds to sustain costs is through its regular garage/jumble sales. WSD’s BOOK and GARAGE SALE offers a treasure trove of Books (on various subjects including Children, Fiction, Non-fiction, Self-Help, Hobbies, Poetry and New Releases at Special Prices), Crockery, Cutlery, Paintings, Kitchenware, Toys, Knick knacks, Artefacts, Glassware, CDs, DVDs and Gift Items at Throw Away Prices. As also, special items on sale include Writing Desk, Wooden Wall Mounted Dressing Table, Copper Vessels and much more! The proceeds of the Garage Sale are used to fund the above–mentioned programs.
