Decade Of ‘Pray Together, Stay Together’ Movement Celebrated At Bhikha Behram Well
25th October, 2019 (Khordad Mah, Ava Roj) marked the ten-year long auspicious celebrations of the ‘Pray Together, Stay Together’ Movement, at Mumbai’s Bhikha Behram Well, initiated in 2009, by two of our Community’s dynamic individuals – Perzon Zend and Hoshaang Gotla.
The eve, which was attended by around 75 humdins who packed the venue, commenced with a Jashan, performed by Er. Nozer Tarachand and Er. Rushad Panthaky; and the rendering of the 121st Humbandagi.
This was followed by a talk given by Zoroastrian Scholar and BPP Trustee, Noshir Dadrawala, who has been a regular speaker at this monthly community congregation. He spoke on the importance of en-lightening the mind by dispelling the darkness of ignorance.
Among devotees there were many community well-wishers like Aspi Deboo who had assisted in the renovation of the complex, trustee of the Well – Burjor Antia; BPP Trustee Viraf Mehta; famed journalist Bachi Karkaria and Er. Zarrir Bhandara from California (USA).
