The Time Is: NOW!
Dear Readers,
One of the biggest maladies of our times is procrastination. Putting things off for later is the worst habit, and let’s be honest, many of us have been guilty of it at some point or the other. Procrastination is the natural assassin of both – talent and opportunity. The best skills, goals and plans amount to zilch if not acted upon. And the best time to act upon anything is NOW.
If there is anything that the past couple of years has taught, even the thickest of us, is that time is way more precious than we give it credit for, and life is way more unpredictable than we’d like it to be. But procrastination comes armed with good reasons. Truth is, in life, your happiness and your success boils down to which of the two you choose – Reason or Result. Reasons don’t count. What matters are Results. And good results are the consequences of timely action.
Even as the first half of the year bids us adieu, we still have the other half to kick-off or restart working on those aims or goals or resolutions we put away for later. This is your time… the time is: NOW!
They say that the main difference between being smart and being wise is that the smart know what they want, but the wise know what they don’t want. And the wise don’t ever want to procrastinate! So, seize the moment and make the rest of the year count!
