It’s ‘Tribute Time’ At NCPA

 ‘Oganga!’ – a tribute penned by Dr. Farokh E. Udwadia on the life of Dr. Albert Schweitzer, a medical missionary and musicologist, is brought to life on stage by Jim Sarbh, and directed by Dr. Sooni Taraporevala, aptly interspersed with Bach’s works, as he narrates the journey of a man who forsook a comfortable life to work as a doctor in the jungles of Equatorial Africa, to offer a lifetime of service to the poorest and most wretched of his fellow human beings. On Sunday, 10th July, at 7:00 pm at Tata Theatre.

 A musical tribute to multi-genre legends Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder by Holly Petrie will get you grooving, as she journeys through popular music history telling a story of the evolution of R&B, funk and soul, on Saturday, 23rd July, at 6:30 pm at Tata Theatre.
